I extracted to my usb then brought it into my car. My SYNC 3 version before the install was 3.0 BUILD 18093_PRODUCT. I followed the instructions and the install took about 15 minutes or so. The screen said update was successful and did a restart. After that, i went to check the SYNC settings and saw that i still had the same exact serial
